Wrap Options
Wrap Size: The term "wrap" aka the frame or edge, describes where the image ends and the canvas is stretched around the sides of the solid wooden frame. Our standard size is a 1.5" If you would prefer a thinner 3/4" frame you can request that option when you order; pricing is the same. |
Plain Wrap: Solid white or black sides wrapped around frame. This is a very elegant look and works well with black and white images. Also works well if you plan on having more than one piece of canvas artwork on your wall. For example, you might want all images on the wall of your living room decor to have black wraps. |
Image Wrap: Full image used and wrapped around frame. Note: This works only with images that you can crop out 2.25" of image on all 4 sides. This is a great look if your focal point on the image will be towards the center of the canvas and you can let the edges of the image just wrap over. If you have details along the outside of your digital image that you don't want to lose then we wouldn't recommend this option, (use the Gallery Wrap.)

Gallery Wrap: Full image on front, all the way to the edges. Then we duplicate a 2.25" edge on all four sides and reflect them softly (blurred) around the edges. This is most often the wrap we use at photosynthesis, the look is fantastic and you won't lose any of your original image details like you would with the Image Wrap option. We copy the 2.25" section on all four sides of your image and then "reflect" or "mirror" that edge to make your wrap. It is also blurred softly so the focus always remains on the front of the canvas. |
Custom Wrap: Feeling artistic? You can chose to have any color, words or patterns on the side wrap. Extra charge for this option. |
Not Sure: If you are not sure what wrap would work best, we are here to help you make the decision. Photosynthesis can contact you after you place your order to help determine which wrap would work best with your image. |
