Alphonse Goettler (pronounced like "Al-fonts Get-ler" Over the past 12 years, Mr. Goettler worked in channel sales and marketing for a Portland, Oregon graphic design software company (Extensis Corporation). As a channel executive, Alphonse built long-term relationships with many of the nation's biggest software resellers, and learned a great deal about the printing, advertising and marketing sectors of our economy. However, one of his favorite responsibilities over those years was building the company's Pro Photo market, a pursuit which gave him valuable insights into the Pro Photo industry on both a micro and macro level. As a digital photography enthusiast, Mr. Goettler was drawn to the idea of transforming digital images into works of art on canvas:
"I was drawn to the idea of transforming images into art on canvas for a number of reasons. First, I love to take an image, make adjustments in Adobe Photoshop, and work to bring out the best of the image in a final output. The whole creative process from input through output is something that I really enjoy. I was also really drawn to the way a Giclée looks, and the possibility of offering people a fresh way to enjoy their best digital images. My vision is to offer people an alternative way to celebrate their lives and enjoy their favorite images." |
